Brian joined Commercial Insurance Consultants, Inc. in 2005. He holds a New York property and casualty Insurance Broker license and obtained his Chartered Property Casualty Underwriter (CPCU) designation in 2006.
Brian Lane is a Consultant with our firm. Having started his insurance career with The Hartford as a Key Account Underwriter, he has nine years experience as a commercial lines underwriter with both national and regional carriers. Brian was recognized by Merchants Mutual Insurance Company for the development of an Excel based program used by agents to rate package policies for contractors.
As a Senior Underwriter for Royal & SunAlliance, Brian underwrote an $8.5 million middle market book of business that focused upon the risk management needs of religious organizations. He also served as the regional point person for a proprietary web based system to facilitate the placement and management of facultative reinsurance.
